Why I’m reaching for a glass of wine:
-One of my work friends is moving on to greener pastures, and I’m sad that I won’t see her smiling face on the bus or in the office anymore. It makes a big difference to have pals at work, you know?
-Not eating extra sugar (March’s resolution) is not going very well. Sugar is just so delicious and addicting and...sugary. Ah well. Try again. Fail again. Fail better. We’ll see how next week goes.
-Doing taxes sucks. Paying taxes sucks even more.
Things I’m loving:
-I’m off work tomorrow, which I’ve been looking forward to since, oh, January 2, which is the last day I had off.
-I think (hope) we found an apartment. We just put in our application, but I won’t feel ready to celebrate until we have the lease in our hands. If we get this one, I think I will be very, very happy living there. They allow pets and I will be over the moon if we’re able to get a cat.
-The weather in Pittsburgh yesterday was ridiculously beautiful. I hope it holds out for a fun-filled weekend with my parents!
-I’m glad I decided to splurge on the monthly gym membership because I love it and go almost every day. The classes are so much fun and I’m definitely getting my money’s worth out of it!
-Bon Iver radio station on Pandora. Love it. That's pretty much all I've been listening to for the past two weeks.
-My parents get here tomorrow and D is officially on spring break starting tomorrow. Let the fun-having commence!!
