I Love You So Much

Whenever I go back to Texas, I have three main goals:  spend time with my family, hang out with my friends, and see Austin.

I met these girls nine years ago when we were all Resident Assistants in an all-girls dorm. We were goofy 19-year-olds who didn't have much of a clue but sure had fun figuring it all out together.  I'm so grateful our friendship has gone the distance.

My dad is proudly wearing his Tona shirt I got him in Nicaragua.

I'm not sure how my mom is so much more tan than I am but I guess my diligent sunscreen application all summer has paid off.

Both of my parents are such an inspiration to me.  I wish I could get back to visit them more often but the time I do have with them is so precious.  I'm already counting down to Thanksgiving.

I love going home to see family and friends! Unfortunately people keep moving and it has become hard to see everyone all at once!

Your mom looks so young!

Your parents are adorable! And, I'm, I was a fellow RA at a big state school, too. Though, my dorm was co-ed and filled with a bunch of jocks (we were square in between the soccer/lacrosse fields and the football stadium). Those were awesome times.

Aww thanks, @Kyria! My mom is going to be 63 in December, which I still can't believe!

Your parents are so cute and I agree with Kyria - your mom looks young! She has aged well! I bet you will, too. :)

I am glad you had a wonderful trip home!
