You Say That You've Got Everything You Want

Well I'm back from Texas and I've brought with me a head cold. I'm grumpy, I don't want to be at work, and I miss Texas. Harumph. But! The trip was wonderful! We had (mostly) beautiful weather. I ate my weight in Mexican food and yummy treats. We did lots of driving, visited family near and far, met up with many beloved friends, explored Austin, and even did the three touristy things there are to do in my small hometown. Oh did I mention that we ate more than I thought possible? Also, I chopped all my hair off. Still not sure how I feel about it but I got a little crazy at the hair salon yesterday morning and told her to just take it all off. I also left my camera battery charger at D's grandma's house so I can't turn on my camera to upload any photos. She's going to mail it to me but still. Sigh. I managed to grab every single possession except that one, good job Marisa. Anyway, lest I give myself any time to rest and recuperate, we're having a potluck on Saturday night and on Tuesday we have tickets to the symphony. Onward!
